How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Leave a landing area in front of the litter-box entrance

CatGuru Standard Medium measures 24 in by 20 in, while Standard XXL measures 48 in by 35 in. Petmate’s Arm & Hammer Half Circle is 23.5 in by 14 in. Dimensions, surfaces and care descriptions identify the mats, with no litter-capture trials or wash-cycle observations. Plan the mat around the entrance and any moving litter-box door, then compare the full footprint with the floor space available.

Length values span 23.5 to 48 in and widths span 14 to 35 in among mats with known dimensions. Outer size does not measure the area that will actually catch litter.

Choose a cleaning method you are prepared to use

CatGuru’s textured-fabric mats carry machine-wash descriptions, while Petmate Extra Large Litter Catcher uses webbed rubberized material and a hand-wash description. Read each model’s care directions before deciding where to clean it.

Petmate Litter Mat Circles Design and its half-circle Litter Catcher lack confirmed dimensions here because the source numbers had no units. They cannot demonstrate a fit under an active size limit.

Before you buy

Why do two Petmate mats have no size?

Their pages print dimensions without units, and guessing inches could put a mat in the wrong size band, so both stay blank.

Is a bigger mat better?

Only if your floor has room for it. The sizes here are outer footprints, and nothing on this page measures how much litter any mat catches. It splits by brand. CatGuru’s mats are machine-wash fabric; Petmate’s, where stated, are rubber webbing you wash by hand. Of the eight sized, the big ones are CatGuru’s XXL (48 x 35 in) and Petmate’s Extra Large (47 x 32 in). Pick CatGuru for the washer, Petmate to rinse and air dry.

What separates CatGuru’s Heavy Duty and Standard mats?

Both come in Medium (24 x 20 in) and XXL, and Heavy Duty adds an Extra-Large at 36 x 28 in. They share the textured fabric and machine washing, and no thickness is given to tell them apart.
