How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Height has to work with the base and the room

Armarkat tree heights range from 50 to 89 in among 9 models with height values. The 50 in tree has a 24 in by 24 in base; the 89 in tree has a 24 in by 19 in base. A taller tree does not necessarily occupy a wider base, so compare both dimensions before choosing a room location.

Read assembly and anchoring directions, and allow space around the complete structure. The Armarkat model with a 26 in by 24 in base has no height value here; its footprint cannot resolve ceiling clearance.

A total holding limit cannot rate each perch

Armarkat’s total holding-weight ratings span 20 to 80 lb. The 50 in tree has a 20 lb total rating, while the 82 in tree has an 80 lb total rating. Read those as whole-tree ratings and seek separate platform limits; neither number tells you a perch’s dimensions or how cats should be distributed.

Post-diameter data are also incomplete, and cannot demonstrate stability by themselves; the maker size and loading comparison here involves no climbing observations, anchoring checks or structural-load measurements.

Before you buy

Do the base sizes include the perches?

No. Platforms and perches can reach past the base, so leave clear space around it; the overall size on each product page shows how far. The A8202 pairs 80 lb with a square base two feet on each side, and the B5806 fits a 19 x 19 in corner at 40 lb. S8502 and S8902 stand 85 in and 89 in high respectively.

Is the holding limit per perch?

It covers the whole tree. A single perch or condo may hold much less, and none of these pages gives a per-perch figure, so compare perch sizes with your cat.

Is a taller tree less stable?

Height and base size alone can’t tell you how steady a tree will be. Assemble it exactly as the instructions say, set it on a level floor and use any wall anchor the maker supplies, especially for a tall tree or an active cat.

Why only Armarkat?

Armarkat’s pages give comparable base sizes and holding limits for every tree, which made a like-for-like set. It covers one maker’s range rather than every brand.

Why is the A6702’s height missing?

Its page gives a 26 x 24 in base and a 60 lb limit but no overall height. Those base dimensions cannot establish the height.
