How the Dog Seat-Belt Tether Finder works
We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.
Which details affect a match?
A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.
- Which vehicle attachment do you need?
- How short must the tether be able to reach (in)?
- How far must the tether be able to extend (in)?
Order and links
The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.
Sources and limitations
Ten tethers from four makers (four Kurgo, three Mighty Paw, two EzyDog, one RC Pets), from their product pages on September 26, 2026, with colors and extra lengths not counted twice. Lengths are the makers' inch figures; the bungee's stretch stays out of its range, the fixed 32 in cable has equal shortest and longest values, and Kurgo's conflicting 12 in versus 38 cm minimum keeps the inch value. The Sit Tight's attachment hardware isn't described, so that field is blank. Crash statements are shown as the makers give them, and component-force figures are never read as crash results. These tethers played no part in any crash, pull or fit trial of ours, so a blank crash field means only that nothing was stated.
The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
