How the Dry Dog Food Label Finder works

We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.

Which details affect a match?

A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.

  • What minimum guaranteed protein percentage are you comparing?
  • What minimum guaranteed fat percentage are you comparing?
  • What maximum energy density are you comparing (kcal/kg)?

Order and links

The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.

Sources and limitations

Twenty dry recipes from three makers (eight Open Farm, six ORIJEN, six VICTOR), taken from the makers' pages on September 15, 2026; bag sizes aren't separate recipes, while puppy and senior formulas are. Protein and fat are label minimums and fiber and moisture maximums, as fed with no dry-matter conversion, and energy is per kilogram, never per cup. Open Farm's 'fibre' spelling and 'kcal me/kg' format were read into the same fields. Suitability for a given dog, life stage and ingredient quality aren't judged. No dog ate from these bags for this page, so taste and results stay unknown.

The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
