Magnets close four of the ten, hinges three (both PetSafes and the Terry Ryan), drawstrings two and a snap-back one.
Need a zippered pocket? Wilderdog, Kurgo, OllyDog and Ruffwear list one. Wilde American's Featherlite lists an accessory D-ring; pocket storage isn't documented here.

Choose the opening you want at your waist
Closure descriptions are available for all 10 pouches. Ruffwear Treat Trader uses a magnetic closure and a zippered outer pocket; Kurgo Go Stuff It uses a drawstring and a zippered extra pocket. PetSafe Treat Pouch Sport uses a hinge and front pocket. Separate the treat opening from accessory storage when deciding what you want to reach during training.
Carry arrangements differ too: Ruffwear describes waist-belt or clip use, while Woofhoof Dog Pocket Treat Pouch is a pocket insert. Read the dimensions, compartment layout and supplied belt or clip for the selected version. Closure descriptions cannot establish opening effort; this comparison includes no training walks with the pouches.
Cleaning advice varies even among fabric pouches
Care instructions are present for 6 pouches. OllyDog Goodie Treat Bag calls for hand washing and air drying, while Wilderdog Dog Training Treat Pouch specifies a gentle machine wash and hanging to dry. Pick a care routine you can follow after carrying treats.
Do not extend those instructions to pouches with no cleaning detail. Read material, liner-removal and drying guidance for the exact item, and verify any removable component before washing it separately. A zippered spare pocket is not evidence that the treat compartment is washable.
Before you buy
Which closure is quickest to reach into?
Nothing here times it. The closures run from hinges and magnets to drawstrings and a snap-back, and a label alone won't tell you how fast your hand gets in. The closure menu also keeps 'magnetic flap', 'magnetic and zipper' and plain 'magnetic' apart, so leave it open to see every magnet.
What does extra storage include?
Anything from a zippered pocket to Blue-9's space for personal essentials or the Featherlite's accessory D-ring, which is an attachment point rather than a pocket. The three hinge pouches have a front pocket, Woofhoof's pocket-insert pouch has no extra storage stated, and Wilderdog, PetSafe's Sport, the Terry Ryan and Woofhoof say you can machine-wash them. Pouch capacity and waterproof claims aren't inferred for any of the ten.
How are these pouches worn, and why is the Mini blank?
Eight of the nine with a stated carrying method go on a belt or at the waist, and Woofhoof's slips into a pocket. PetSafe's Mini page repeats the Sport's copy, so its carrying method and cleaning instructions were left blank instead of borrowed from the Sport; its closure and front pocket are shown as the page gives them.
