Port feeders run from 2.5 to 65 lb; the two treadles hold 25 or 40 lb and the two lidded troughs 10 or 25 lb.

Hopper capacity and feeding access are different choices
RentACoop feed capacities range from 2.5 to 65 lb across 10 feeders. Its metal port feeder holds 15 lb with 6 ports, while the 10 lb High Rise feeder has a single port. Choose the access arrangement as well as the amount of feed you want to load; hopper weight does not measure how many birds can eat comfortably.
Port, treadle and trough designs all appear here. The capacity comparison comes from RentACoop descriptions, without a feeding trial or a measurement of wasted feed. Follow the exact feeder’s guidance for feed type and loading rather than converting capacity into an assumed refill interval.
Settle the support arrangement before filling the hopper
The High Rise feeder describes mounting, the port feeder with 4 ports describes a stand, and the Flock Feeder with 6 ports uses legs. Placement is specified for 6 of the 10 feeders. An absent placement detail is a reason to read the installation instructions, not to assume the feeder is freestanding.
Metal and plastic options are present, but material alone does not establish feed protection or ease of cleaning. Inspect the lid, port access and support hardware for the exact model, including what is supplied and what you need to add.
Before you buy
Can young chicks use every feeder here?
Not every one. Four port models carry the Chick2Chicken name, but Flock Feeder’s own title says it's for adult chickens, turkeys and ducks, and port size and treadle operation vary from model to model. Before you buy for chicks or small birds, read the age and bird-size guidance on the page for that exact model. Treadles hold 25 or 40 lb, while lidded troughs hold the smallest High Rise capacity below or the lower treadle capacity. The single-port models hold 2.5, 3 or 10 lb; the 15 and 65 lb six-ports stand on legs. For chicks, check RentACoop's age and bird-size guidance.
How long will a full feeder last?
Flock size, feed type and spillage decide that, and RentACoop gives capacity in pounds only. What the pounds do tell you is how much you carry per fill: the smaller six-port holds six times the smallest single-port’s capacity above.
Which feeders stand on legs and which mount to the coop?
The three single-port models mount: the smallest with a coop clip, the middle-capacity one with cage anchors, and High Rise to wood, wire or half-inch hardware cloth, or from its included S-hooks. The two six-port feeders stand on adjustable legs and the 4-port on an adjustable stand. Of the single-ports, the smallest and High Rise are the plastic ones. The treadle and trough pages give no placement or port count, and a blank port count doesn't mean zero ports.
